My Story
Kent Wheeler is a lifelong Ashtabula County resident who was raised in Conneaut, Ohio. After graduating from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance in 2008, he built a successful career in sales, leadership, and client relations throughout Northeast Ohio.
Kent spent many years with Sherwin-Williams, where he advanced from management training into leadership and outside sales roles, earning multiple awards for sales growth, operational performance, and customer service. He later joined 3E Company as an Account Manager, continuing to strengthen his background in business consulting and relationship management.
In 2026, Kent became licensed in Life and Health Insurance and joined Wiley Insurance alongside Ann Wiley and Zac Freeman. His background in finance and customer service naturally led him into the insurance industry, where he is focused on helping individuals and families make informed decisions about their health, life, and financial future.
Kent currently resides in Kingsville, Ohio with his wife and stepdaughters. He takes pride in building genuine, long-term relationships with clients and looks forward to continuing his involvement in the local community and small business relationships throughout Ashtabula County.
